    How to Pay with a SHINSEGAE Coupon (thePAY)

     

    1. In the thePAY app, select the SHINSEGAE product, then choose the mobile voucher (denomination) you want.
    2. Enter the 11-digit mobile phone number that will receive the coupon, then proceed with payment.
    3. The issued SHINSEGAE coupon will be sent to the thePAY app and via SMS to the phone number you entered.
    4. The SHINSEGAE mobile voucher can be exchanged for a paper gift certificate at a self-service kiosk inside Emart or Shinsegae Department Store and used in-store, or used online (SSG.COM, etc.) through the SSG PAY app.

     

     

    How to Use It at Offline Stores (Required Exchange Steps)

     

    1. Visit a self-service kiosk: Find the 'SHINSEGAE Gift Voucher Self-service Kiosk' next to the customer service center at a nearby Emart or Shinsegae Department Store.
    2. Select the exchange menu: On the kiosk screen, tap the 'Mobile Voucher Gift Certificate Exchange' menu.
    3. Scan the barcode: Hold the barcode of the coupon received via SMS or the thePAY app up to the kiosk scanner, or enter the voucher number.
    4. Receive the paper gift certificate: Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the verification number to issue a paper gift certificate. Use this paper certificate like cash at offline stores such as Shinsegae Department Store, Emart, and Starfield.
